L'\u00e9pilation \u00e0 la cire est une m\u00e9thode rapide d'\u00e9pilation du visage et du corps. Une fine couche de r\u00e9sine est appliqu\u00e9e dans le sens de la pousse, puis une couche qui s'incruste dans la r\u00e9sine.
\nLa bande est retir\u00e9e d'un seul coup. La r\u00e9sine en film est \u00e9galement souvent utilis\u00e9e pour le visage, o\u00f9 aucune bande n'est utilis\u00e9e.
\nLe poil est compl\u00e8tement \u00e9limin\u00e9 \u00e0 la cire. Apr\u00e8s l'\u00e9pilation \u00e0 la cire, il faut compter en moyenne 3 \u00e0 8 semaines pour que les poils repoussent.
